Hi, I’m Ahmad Neirat, a game developer with more than 10 years of experience building games and interactive applications, primarily with Unity and C#. I hold a B.S. in Multimedia Technology, with a background spanning game development, interactive experiences, design, animation, and multimedia production.
Neirlab is the name I use for my independent and client work, essentially my personal creative studio and portfolio. The name combines “Neir”, meaning black in Romansh-Surmiran, with “Lab”: the place where ideas are experimented with, built, broken, rebuilt, and eventually turned into something real.
My work has ranged from independently developed games such as Baseet World, to educational games, interactive exhibitions, client projects, prototypes, and experimental game-jam projects. I enjoy working across the full development process – from gameplay and software architecture to UI, graphics, animation, audio, and publishing.
I have also been active in the Palestinian game-development community, organizing Global Game Jam, Game Zanga, and other local game-development events between 2016 and 2020.
Neirlab is where I collect that work: original projects, client work, experiments, and the occasional strange idea that somehow becomes a game.
